NTDA confirms ECI International as sponsor of 2009 TAFF Awards
ECI International, organisers of Brityrex 2010, the tyre and garage equipment exhibition, have been confirmed as the new sponsor of the NTDA’s TAFF Awards (
Making the announcement NTDA director Richard Edy said: “The NTDA has had a long and positive association with ECI over the years and this latest agreement is a further sign of their support for the tyre industry.
“We are grateful to Renault for their sponsorship since 2006 and now look forward to working with ECI to further establish the TAFF Awards as the UK Tyre Industries key accolade.”
ECI’s sponsorship will provide the company with a high profile presence at the NTDA’s 80th annual dinner in September and will include branding, display and other promotional opportunities for Brityrex 2010, as well as the company’s other major tyre trade exhibitions in South Africa and Singapore.
ECI managing director Paul Farrant, commented: “We are very pleased to extend our involvement with the NTDA to this year’s TAFF Awards. Since their inception the awards have recognised and rewarded excellence in the tyre and aftermarket sectors. They are highly-prized because they are voted for by the industry and there is no greater endorsement than that of your peers and customers.”
Voting for this year’s five awards categories is well underway and remains open until the end of August. Online voting is available via the NTDA website at www.ntda.co.uk
The only award not voted for by the industry at large is the Innovation Award, which is nominated by a panel of directors and chief executives from leading trade associations including the NTDA, BTMA, ADF, GEA and media partner Tyres & Accessories magazine.
